The story begins in 1927, when Joe and Antoinette Ghiringhelli held their wedding-night dinner at a restaurant tucked into the hills of Fairfax. Charmed by the special property—originally opened in 1916 as a lodge—the young newlyweds made a promise to each other that one day they would own it. In 1937, their dream became a reality. To celebrate, Joe planted a grove of redwood trees, which have since grown into an “Enchanted Forest” of towering giants—now recognized as one of the most magical redwood forest wedding venues in California—sheltering thousands of couples as they exchange vows under the canopy of these majestic trees.
